Making with the poking and prodding and...

well, it's now officially official, we're leaving for canada sometime early this summer for robin to take her new job at carleton university in ottawa. i know everyone who reads this blog knows of the news from other sources, but this is the first time i have posted here, shout-out to the world-at-large.

anyway, in the flurry of things to do before i leave my current job (may 5th), i have tried to use my remaining sick leave to take care of basic stuff, like general physicals and whatnot, and part of that was a tetanus booster (haven't had a tetanus shot since '92, when i entered undergraduate at Tulane). what i forgot is how SORE that booster makes your arm the day after. i feel like someone punch me as hard as they could with their hand wearing their class ring. i can't raise my arm above shoulder level without EXCRUCIATING pain. argh.

anyway, just thought i would gripe.
