The Sprint Begins...

i guess i kinda saw this coming, but the marathon that has been the past few months has not officially turned into a sprint for the finish line, but a few things have started falling into place. supposedly, our roofer finally has his license back, so we should theoretically be getting a roof... um, sooner or later. it's certainly better than the alternative. the house exterior is clean, and we got the yard "landscaped" (somewhat). well, more like just cleaned up, but that's really all that was needed.

got my cyst removed this morning (it was in my neck... kind of a disturbing procedure, that required a large hole in my neck and much pulling, yanking, and suction out of said hole. trust me -- not fun. but it's done, so that's good.

in-laws arrive tomorrow, then it's entertaining them and french quarter festival, and then, lo and behold, we list the house. meanwhile, i try to tie up loose ends at work, and we try not to go broke in the process of the rest of the summer.
